    Basbousa Semolina Cake

    Ingredients of Basbousa Semolina Cake :
    •     Half a kilo (1/2 2 cup) Samit (semolina) preferably coarse.
    •      1/4 liter (1/4 1 cup) warm milk.
    •      300 g (1/3 1 cup) sugar.
    •     150 g (3/4 cup) of butter.
    •      25 g coconut.
     
    Sherbet(syrup) :
     125 g (1/2 cup) heavy syrup.
    Ingredients of the syrup:
     (Cup sugar - a cup of water - 1/2 a lemon)

    how to make the syrup:
    •  To prepare the syrup : combine the sugar and  water,  in a saucepan and place over medium heat.
    •  When the sauce boils, add the lemon juice.let it on the heat for 5 minutes.

    •      Mix all ingredients except semolina.
    •     Then carefully mix the Semolina.
    •     Grease a round 22 cm pan and dust with some flour. or use a butter paper.
    •      Monument the mixture and still fit 190-degree oven about 25 minutes until golden color.
    •    Let the topping cool slightly and then spread it over the top and the sides of the cake for about 20 minutes. .
